A Small Farming Community
Faxon sits in the far southwestern corner of Comanche County, about 18 miles southwest of Lawton and just 5 miles east of Chattanooga. The town sits along State Highway 36, not far from Interstate 44.
Faxon has deep farming roots. The town was named for Ralph Faxon, a private secretary to a U.S. Senator, and its post office opened back in 1902. A railway reached the town the following year, connecting it to Lawton, and by 1908 Faxon supported two cotton gins along with several local shops. Farming has stayed part of the town’s identity ever since, even as its population has shrunk to just over 100 residents today.
Because Faxon is so small and rural, most properties here sit on larger acreage than in Lawton or its bigger suburbs. That gives us plenty of room to work with on most deliveries.

Dumpster Sizes for Faxon Projects
10 yard dumpster
A small cleanout, a single room of flooring, or light yard and farm debris.
15 yard dumpster
Our most requested size for kitchen or bathroom remodels and standard property cleanouts.
20 yard dumpster
Best for a whole property cleanout, a larger remodel, or a full roof tear-off.
30 and 40 yard dumpsters
Available for larger construction or demolition projects, with site access confirmed before delivery.
If you’re not sure what size fits your project, tell us what you’re clearing out and we’ll recommend one instead of steering you toward the biggest option.
What Can and Cannot Go in the Dumpster?
Most household and farm cleanup items are fine, including furniture, drywall, flooring, and yard waste. Materials that are not allowed include tires, batteries, paint and other liquids, appliances with refrigerant, and hazardous or chemical waste. These rules come from the landfill, not from us, so we’ll flag anything questionable before your load gets rejected.
Do I Need a Permit in Faxon?
Placement on your own property typically doesn’t require a permit. If the dumpster needs to sit on a public road or right of way, check with the town first, since rules can differ from what applies inside Lawton city limits.
